Harrowing Video Shows Delta Air Lines Flight Flip Over During Toronto Airport Crash
Harrowing video from a pilot holding short of the runway at Toronto Pearson Airport highlights the flip over of the Delta Air Lines plane at the moment of the crash.
The video has shown exactly the moments of the impact, which will no doubt be part of the key investigation.
Investigators have been on sight not long after the accident, to begin their inquiries.
Harrowing Video from Toronto Airport Plane Crash…
The video taken by another pilot holding short of the Toronto Pearson Airport shows interesting viewing towards potential early indicators of the Delta Air Lines crash.
DL4819 was seen on a normal landing path up to feet before the arrival.
From there, the aircraft appeared to head to the ground rapidly, with the landing gear system appearing to collapse following contact with the ground.
Furthermore, following the contact with the ground, the aircraft appears to flip and then flames erupt from the aircraft.

Like with the video, initial ADS-B data confirms that the aircraft was landing at a normal descent rate, around -800 feet per minute.
It was not until the aircraft came feet from the ground where things began to go wrong.
What We Know So Far Regarding The Delta Air Lines Crash…
Delta Air Lines flight DL4819, which was involved in the flip over crash, is a routine flight between Minneapolis and Toronto Pearson Airport.
Furthermore, data suggests that the specific aircraft involved in the accident is N932XJ.
As per data from Planespotters.net, N932XJ is a 16.6 year old Bombardier CRJ-900LR.
The aircraft belongs to Endeavour Air, which operates for Delta Connection, the airline’s subsidiary.
The U.S mainline carrier utilises this operator’s aircraft for regional and shorter flights, where not as many passengers are handled.
Following the crash, multiple images and video were released from both passers-by, as well as passengers who were onboard the aircraft itself.
It is understood that 80 people were onboard the CRJ-900LR aircraft.
21 of the 80 passengers were sent to hospital as a result of their injuries.
At the time of publication, it is understood that two passengers are still in hospital.
Furthermore, it is understood that the two passengers have non-life threatening injuries.
Authorities credited the crew for the successful evacuation of everybody onboard.
However, an interesting point is that the airport fire chief had to walk back a previous statement made that crosswinds and runway conditions were not a factor.
Furthermore, this could give some insight into this potentially being a cause of the accident involving the Delta Air Lines plane crash at Toronto Pearson Airport.
What Comes Next?
In terms of what comes next…
Investigators will already be in full flow to establish the official cause of this crash.
The preliminary report will give an indicator into the sort of angles that investigators will be observing.
Such angles will then be developed into eventually the full investigation report.
No timescales are needed for the report unless there is a significant fundamental issue that needs to be announced.
For now, all eyes turn to the reports that will no doubt be released in the weeks and months ahead.
